Microsoft Excel Learning & Useful Formulae in MS Excel

In Microsoft Excel, we maintain various types of data and analyse them. We can calculate our data and keep our data in the way we want.

We type data in various cells of the excel sheet.

Total No. of Rows: 1048576

Total No. of Columns: 16384

So, in excel we have total of 17179869184 Cells to enter data. We can maintain huge data in MS Excel.  

Calculation of values are done in MS Excel with the help of Formulae.

To open MS Excel: Press Window+R to and type "excel" and press enter.

Let's learn some basic useful MS Excel Formulae:

For Addition of cell A1 and A2:    =A1+A2

For Addition of cell A1 and A2:    =A1-A2

For Multiplication of cell A1 and A2:    =A1*A2

For Division of cell A1 and A2:    =A1/A2

To add many cells in a row or column:    =sum(cells range)

To find out Maximum Value in a row or column:     =max(cells range)

To find out Minimum Value in a row or column:     =min(cells range)
